How many do you have? 7 pairs Your best sneaker story? When I was strolling through town, I run into this shop called 'sneakers' (!). There Steven (he's my friend) started yelling. And before he could move I grasped the New Balances from the wall. I tried them on and they were perfect. I longed to buy them, but I couldn't since I told myself not to buy more sneakers until I bought myself a nice pair of decent shoes for work (high heeled, not comfortable etc). Then Steven, he had just had a job-interview said: What about a deal? If I get the job, I buy you these shoes. If I don't you buy a pair for me. That's a deal, I said! The guy from the shop was interested to know what excited us so much. We told him the story and he was so very very kind to put the shoes apart (the very last pair!). When we came home, the phone was ringing. Yes, he had got the job. I have never been so happy with someoe getting a job. The next day we went back to the shop. The guy saw us coming and asked And?...I've got the job, Steven said, and the guy concratulated him and started asking all about it. We were in the shop for about an hour and then we picked up the shoes. They still are my favourites. Why are sneakers important? Because they make you feel at home at any place. Wearing sneakers I feel relaxed and I feel like I do not have to show up. Just be yourself. Still I am not sure whether I will be wearing sneakers at my new job.
