Your first memorable sneakers?
That would be the handball shoes I bought from "Galne Gunnar" ("Crazy Gunnar - outlet type store in Sweden) which was the closest thing you could get to old school styles before the real thing was available in Sweden.

Your top sneakers of all time?
I am not even sure what they're called because I've never been able to get a pair but I've seen them on other people. They're suede wine-red Puma's with black stripes. I have a nice pair of Puma Ralph Sampson, baby-blue with black stripes. Adidas Campus is a nice sneaker too. In the old days, when I was out there writing on the walls and trains, we would wear those white Nike tennis sneakers with a blue swoosh. They were cool when they were really worn out. I remember everybody would write on each others shoes, you know, like "fuck school" and stuff like that.

Tobbe favourites.

You still into old school styles?
I guess, but for a while there the whole old school thing got ridiculous and I just felt like going back to ancient tennis shoes, all white, clean cut. Like what your aunt Selma would wear in the thirties. Or the classic Converse, dark blue without. Now it's getting back to normal though. The fashion victims wear hi-tech sneakers. Taggers and graffitti writers are practically the only one's still wearing old school these days, so that's fine. On the other hand it makes it harder to go under cover - the shoes will give you away to cops and security guards, especially if you've got spray paint all over them! I mean, every city you go to in Europe, you can tell who's a writer right away. We look the same all over the world.

How many sneakers do you have?
Not that many, but I have learnt to take care of my sneakers better though. The old one's I would wear out a couple each semester. I mean, you'd wear them everyday, in winter too, and they'd get cold and wet.Now I've heard that you should always give your sneakers one day of rest, especially if you get them wet which is pretty normal if you live in Sweden (worst climate in the world).
