Hey, give me a break, it was the eighties. Your top sneaker of all time? Perhaps I'm low-tech here, but I will always love Converse All-Stars, they are the ultimate shoe. All of my sneakers are different patterns of All-Stars. When you have that many of the same shoe, they look very cool lined up in the front hallway at home. Red, green, purple, blue, white, black, plaid, Canadian flag, cow print... Why are sneakers important? Well, for one, they cover your feet. For me it's like, how original can you make the classic sneaker? It makes me an individual, I guess. I dye them, put stickers on them, get strange shoelaces, etc. My friends all think I'm nuts. But then most of them wear high heels on a regular basis, so what authority do they have? Where do you shop for sneakers? Stores. How colossally boring, eh? Lots of places sell All-Stars.
