Your first sneakers?
probably some cheap no-brand shelltoes... the first ones i remember were a pair of nike pegasus my mom bought me... pale blue with a purple swoosh. I must have been around 7 or 8 by then.

Your top sneaker of all time?
all white stan smiths, AF1s and superstars...
campus...elegant and classic, can be worn with anything, be it cargo shorts in camo, jeans, chinos or a 1000 dollar suit, these shoes will match just fine.
white AJ3's are the most beautiful kicks ever IMO but I've never managed to get a pair.
on the new school tip I prefer prestos because of their comfort and dope colors. I hate all those space age basketball shoes... never rock fila.
also... i used to skateboard so I grew up wearing airwalk 540, vision 14000 and shit.. hiiiiigh top skate shoes.

Where do you shop for sneakers?
sport and outlet stores... I've made mad cheap deals finding 5 pairs of shoes for the prize of one. last pairs, just my size.
also, nike shop and special streetwear and skate shops for strange colors and hard-to-get designs. flea markets and 2nd hand stores too... they're full of crap, worn out pieces of shit but sometimes they're worth checking out. I've found pairs of nearly unused all white old school pumas, white leather new balance running shoes and black adidas forum mid-tops for 3 euros a pair! Tip: Always buy multiples, esp. if you get 'em cheap! nothing's better than wearing a pair of boxfresh sneakers that have been out of stock for years.

Why are sneakers important?
sneakers are more than just shoes... not just something to keep your feet warm and dry but a media, a way to express yourself. you can tell a lot of person by just looking at their shoes... are they dirty, expensive, old or new school, mainstream etc.
even though most people do not think of it when buying shoes, they subconsciously choose the shape, brand and color reflecting their thoughts, attitude, economy and style.

You best sneaker story?
my friend racking me a pair of air jordan six's when I was about 16... those were by far coolest and most expensive sneakers back then.
too bad I sold them soon after... those crazy sneakerheads in japan and hong kong would probably pay me a fortune if I still had 'em.

Henry washes his sneaks in a machine... Brave.

How many?
about 40 or 50 pairs... some of them are loafers, though.

Sneaker you are most looking forward to?
the pair of silver forum metal lo-tops i won at adidas.com/originals... damn, been waiting for over six months to get 'em.
also new prestos and nike x futura 2000 blazers.. oh, i heard stash is about to have a model out on nike too...

How do you clean your sneaks?
toothbrush, cloth, q-tips and soap. dry cleaning for suede. washing machine for easy to access shoes worn every day
